Note: Total assets are FY2025 year-end figures and converted into USD using period-end exchange rates; market capitalisation is as of 18 July 2026. *UniCredit + Commerzbank figures are pro forma. The combined market capitalisation of approximately $149 billion excludes double counting of UniCredit’s existing Commerzbank stake, compared with an unadjusted sum of approximately $188 billion. UniCredit and Commerzbank’s combined assets of €1,523 billion (€912.8 billion + €610.0 billion), equivalent to $1,790 billion, are figures before consolidation adjustments. Based on Commerzbank’s FY2024 geographic exposure data, we estimate that non-European assets account for 8%–12% of its total assets. Assuming that 30%–50% of these assets are divested, the merged entity would have estimated post-consolidation assets of €1.49 trillion–€1.51 trillion ($1,751 bn–$1,774 bn) based on FY2025 data.
